During the 2006–2007 school year, students were moved to their newly built school known as Bryan Station High. Bryan Station High School is situated 2½ miles west of Bryan Station Spring.

Bryan Station was an early fortified settlement in Lexington, Kentucky. It was located on present-day Bryan Station Road, about three miles northeast of New Circle Road, on the southern bank of Elkhorn Creek near Briar Hill Road.
