Smith Island is a small inhabited island in Maryland's Chesapeake Bay. It is the only off-shore inhabited island in the state of Maryland and is accessible only via boat.

Rhodes Point is an unincorporated community located on Smith Island in Somerset County, Maryland, United States. Rhodes Point lies on the same insular mass as does the main Smith Island town of Ewell. Rhodes Point is situated 2 miles south of Boat Island.
