Perryville station is a passenger rail station on the Northeast Corridor in Perryville, Maryland. It is the northern terminus of the MARC Penn Line. The station has a single side platform serving the northern track of the four-track Northeast Corridor. Perryville station is situated 2½ miles west of Poplar Point.

Carpenter Point was the site of the first permanent settlement in Cecil County, established on July 20, 1658, when William Carpenter patented 400 acres of land called Anna Catherine Neck, abutting Bay Head Creek, now Principio Creek; Simon Carpenter was assigned this tract of land in 1662.
