Stone Hill is an unincorporated community in eastern Dent County, Missouri. The community is on a county road just east of Missouri Route 72, approximately ten miles east-southeast of Salem.

Max is an extinct town in Dent County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. The GNIS classifies it as a populated place. A post office called Max was established in 1912, and remained in operation until 1954. Max is situated 1½ miles southwest of Teague Hollow.
