The community is situated approximately 3 miles north of Wiggins on U.S. Route 49, and is part of the Gulfport-Biloxi metropolitan area. Bond is situated 4 miles northeast of Chaney Creek.

Stone County is a county in the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Wiggins is the largest and only incorporated city in the county.
