Joyland is an unincorporated community in Durham County, North Carolina, United States, on North Carolina Highway 98, east of its junction with U.S. Route 70. Most of Joyland was annexed by the city of Durham in 1966. Joyland is situated 4½ miles southwest of Gorman.

Bragtown is a neighborhood located in the northeastern corner of Durham, North Carolina. The community is centered on N. Roxboro Street and the Old Oxford Highway. Braggtown is situated 4½ miles west of Gorman.
