Somerset is a village in , United States. The population as of the 2020 census was 1,481. It is located 9.5 miles north of the county seat and has a dedicated historical district. , the oldest Catholic church in Ohio, is located just outside Somerset on State Route 383.

Saint Joseph's Catholic Church is a historic church in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Columbus, located in Somerset, Ohio. It is one of the oldest Catholic church buildings in Ohio and home to Ohio's oldest Catholic parish which has been served by priests of the Dominican order since its foundation. is situated 2½ miles southeast of Somerset.
