Mountain Park Dam is located just upstream of Snyder Dam, on Otter Creek near . Snyder Lake was drained to accommodate construction of Mountain Park Dam, then restored upon completion of construction, which was performed by O'Neal Construction, Inc. of Ann Arbor, MI.
