Muskogee is the 13th-largest city in Oklahoma and is the county seat of Muskogee County. It lies approximately 48 miles southeast of Tulsa. The population of the city was 36,878 as of the 2020 census, a 6.0% decrease from 39,223 in 2010.

Village
Summit is a town in Muskogee County, Oklahoma, United States. It was originally called "South Muskogee" when it was platted in 1910, and is one of 13 all-black towns still surviving at the beginning of the 21st century. Summit is situated 6 miles southwest of Optimist Park.
