Adair is a town in Mayes County, Oklahoma, United States. The population was 732 at the 2020 census, down from 790 in 2010. Named for two prominent Cherokee brothers, the town was established in 1883. It opened a Cherokee school. Adair is situated 3½ miles southeast of Whiskey Gap.
