Taft is a town in Muskogee County, Oklahoma, United States. The population was 174 as of the 2020 Census, down from 250 in 2010. The locale began as an all-black town on land allotted to Creek Freedmen. It is named for President William Howard Taft. Taft is situated 3½ miles east of Yahola.

Haskell is a city in Muskogee County, Oklahoma, United States. The population was 1,626 at the 2020 census, down from 2,007 in 2010. Haskell was established in 1904 on the Midland Valley Railroad.Yahola
