Culp's Hill, which is about 3⁄4 mi south of the center of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, played a prominent role in the Battle of Gettysburg. It consists of two rounded peaks, separated by a narrow saddle. Culp’s Hill is situated 2 miles west of Lake Heritage.

Two Taverns is an unincorporated community on Pennsylvania Route 97 between Gettysburg and Littlestown in Adams County, Pennsylvania, United States. During the Battle of Gettysburg, Kilpatrick's Union cavalry was ordered to the community prior to a charge at the South Cavalry Field. Two Taverns is situated 2½ miles southeast of Lake Heritage.
