Cerro de Punta or Cerro Punta is the highest peak in Puerto Rico, rising to 1,338 meters above sea level. The mountain is part of the Cordillera Central and is located on the town boundary between the municipalities of Ponce and Jayuya in the central region of the main island of Puerto Rico. Cerro de Punta is situated 3½ km south of Veguitas River.

Piedra Blanca is the fourth highest peak of Puerto Rico measuring 4,042 feet above sea level. Piedra Blanca, which is Spanish for "white rock", is located in the Cordillera Central or Central Mountain Range of Puerto Rico, in the Veguitas barrio of Jayuya, close to Cerro de Punta and Cerro Rosa. Piedra Blanca is situated 2½ km south of Veguitas River.
