Plaza del Caribe is an enclosed shopping mall located in Ponce, Puerto Rico. It is owned by Empresas Fonalledas, and is the largest mall in southern Puerto Rico. Plaza del Caribe is situated 1½ km northwest of Villa Del Carmen.

The U.S. Customs House, located at Bonaire and Aduana streets in barrio La Playa, Ponce, Puerto Rico, is the oldest customs house in Puerto Rico, and the only one of its type under the U.S. flag. United States Customs House is situated 1½ km west of Villa Del Carmen.

The Puente Río Portugués is a historic bridge over the former course of the Río Portugués in barrio Playa in the municipality of Ponce, Puerto Rico. The bridge was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 2015. Puente Río Portugués is situated 2 km northwest of Villa Del Carmen.
