Congaree River
The Congaree River is a short but wide river in South Carolina in the United States; It flows for approximately 53 miles. The river serves an important role as the final outlet channel for the entire Lower Saluda and Lower Broad watersheds, before merging with the Wateree River just north of Lake Marion to form the Santee River.| Tap on a place to explore it |

Millford Plantation is a historic forced-labor farm and plantation house located on SC 261 west of Pinewood, South Carolina. Built with the profits of enslaved labor, it was sometimes called Manning's Folly, because of its remote location in the High Hills of Santee section of the state and its elaborate details. Milford is situated 5 miles east of Congaree River.
