Paint Rock is a town in and the county seat of Concho County, Texas, United States. The population was 237 at the 2020 census. The town's name comes from Native American pictographs painted on cliffs overlooking the nearby Concho River. Paint Rock is situated 4½ miles south of Brushy Creek.
