Edna is a city and the county seat of Jackson County, Texas, United States. The population was 5,499 at the 2010 census and 5,987 at the 2020 census. Edna is the gateway to 11,000-acre Lake Texana, which covers the site of Texana, Texas. Edna is situated 3½ miles north of Camp Independence.
