Lindsay is a primarily German Catholic city in Cooke County, Texas, United States, along U.S. Route 82. The population was 1,018 at the 2010 census, up from 788 at the 2000 census. It increased to 1,045 at the 2020 census. Lindsay is situated 1½ miles northeast of Dry Elm Creek.
