The National Museum of the Pacific War is located in Fredericksburg, Texas, the boyhood home of Fleet Admiral Chester W. Nimitz. Nimitz served as commander in chief, United States Pacific Fleet, and was soon afterward named commander in chief, Pacific Ocean Areas, during World War II. National Museum of the Pacific War is situated 4,100 feet northwest of Fort Martin Scott Historic Site.

Fort Martin Scott is a restored United States Army outpost near Fredericksburg in the Texas Hill Country, United States, that was active from December 5, 1848, until April, 1853. Fort Martin Scott is situated 1¼ miles southeast of Fort Martin Scott Historic Site.

The Pioneer Memorial Library is located at 115 W. Main Street, Fredericksburg, Gillespie County, in the U.S. state of Texas. Designed by Alfred Giles, it was built in 1882 to replace the original 1855 courthouse, and was later superseded by the current 1939 courthouse designed by Edward Stein. Fredericksburg Memorial Library is situated 1¼ miles northwest of Fort Martin Scott Historic Site.
