Talco is a city in Titus County, Texas, United States. The population was 494 at the 2020 census. The name is derived either from that of a local candy bar or from the local people's saying it was "Texas-Arkansas-Louisiana country", hence Talco. Talco is situated 2½ miles southwest of Timber Lake.
