Whitetop is an unincorporated community in Grayson County, Virginia, United States. It is the southern terminus of the Virginia Creeper Trail. Whitetop is named for nearby Whitetop Mountain, the second-tallest independent mountain in the State of Virginia, behind Mount Rogers.

Konnarock is an unincorporated community in Washington and Smyth counties in the U.S. state of Virginia. Konnarock Training School was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997. Konnarock is situated 3½ miles north of Green Cove.
