White Stone is a town in Lancaster County, Virginia, United States. The population was 380 at the 2020 census. White Stone is one of many small towns located in Virginia's Northern Neck region.

Palmer is an unincorporated community in Lancaster County in the U. S. state of Virginia. Palmer is near, but not in, the flood zone. Further down from Palmer are the flooded portions of Windmill Point. Palmer is situated 2 miles east of White Stone Wharf.
