Peak
West Peak, 1,024 feet, of the Hanging Hills, is the highest traprock peak in the state of Connecticut. The peak hangs above the city of Meriden 700 feet below and is characterized by its vertical cliffs and sweeping views of southern Connecticut, Long Island Sound, and the Berkshires to the west. West Peak is situated 2 miles east of Quinnipiac River Public Access.

East Peak, 976 feet, is a prominent basalt traprock mountain in the Hanging Hills of Meriden, Connecticut. Rugged and scenic, the peak rises steeply above the city of Meriden 600 feet below and is characterized by its vertical cliffs and sweeping views of southern Connecticut and Long Island Sound. East Peak is situated 2½ miles east of Quinnipiac River Public Access.
