Scantic River
The Scantic River is a river that flows through the states of Massachusetts and Connecticut. It is a tributary to the Connecticut River. The Scantic River's tributaries rise in the towns of Hampden, Wilbraham, East Longmeadow and Monson in Massachusetts, and in Stafford and Somers, Connecticut, forming the river in the town of Hampden, Massachusetts southeast of Springfield.| Tap on a place to explore it |

Windsor station is a historic railroad station on Amtrak's New Haven–Springfield Line, located in downtown Windsor, Connecticut. It is served by Amtrak Northeast Regional and Valley Flyer intercity service and CT Rail's Hartford Line commuter rail service. Windsor station is situated 1½ miles southwest of Scantic River.

The Palisado Avenue Historic District encompasses a predominantly residential streetscape in northeastern Windsor, Connecticut. Extending along Palisado Avenue between the Farmington River and Bissell Ferry Road, it is a basically 18th-century street view, populated mainly with houses from the 18th to the 20th centuries.
