Badger is a Town in Webster County, Iowa, United States. The population was 522 at the 2020 census. The town got its name from Badger Creek, which itself got its name when a group of soldiers from Fort Dodge in the early 1850s saw a badger for the first time.

Clare is a city in Webster County, Iowa, United States. The population was 136 at the 2020 census. Clare was settled c. 1882 by immigrants from County Clare, Ireland. Clare is also home to a United States post office on West Front St. Clare is situated 6 miles west of Deer Creek Area.
