Mount Everett

Mount Everett is the highest peak in the southern Taconic Mountains, rising about 2,000 feet above its eastern footings in Sheffield, Massachusetts. Its summit area is noted for expansive vistas and an unusual dwarf forest of pitch pine and oak. Mount Everett is situated 2½ miles southwest of Combes Pond.

Old Covered Bridge

The Old Covered Bridge, also known as the Upper Sheffield Covered Bridge, is a covered bridge on Covered Bridge Lane in Sheffield, Massachusetts. It is a replica of an 1837 lattice truss bridge that was destroyed by fire in 1994. Old Covered Bridge is situated 2 miles east of Combes Pond.
