Marshall Hall
Marshall Hall, otherwise known as Marshall Laboratory, was the first microbiology laboratory at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Constructed in 1916, it housed the college's microbiology department for a number of years, and was used extensively for bacteriology classes and research.Places of Interest Nearby

The Blue Wall is a former dive bar and current food court at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Opening inside the Murray D. Lincoln Campus Center in the 1970s, the bar made upwards of $600,000 in the late 1970s, and went through 1,800 kegs a year. Blue Wall Cafe is situated 630 feet southwest of Marshall Hall.
