Menemsha is a small fishing village located in the town of Chilmark on Martha's Vineyard in Massachusetts. It is on the eastern coast of Menemsha Pond, adjacent to the opening into the Vineyard Sound on the pond's northern end. Menemsha is situated 3 miles north of Squibnocket.

Aquinnah is a town at the western end of Martha's Vineyard. The bright, multi-colored clay cliffs at Gay Head are a fabulous sight. Aquinnah is home to the Wampanoag Tribe, residents of Martha's Vineyard for thousands of years and the majority population of the town.
