Abita Lake

Abita Lake is a lake in West Cook, Minnesota, which, at an elevation of 2,040.19 feet above sea level, is Minnesota's ninth highest named lake. Prior to modern surveys, the lake was once believed to be Minnesota's highest elevation lake. Abita Lake is situated 2½ miles east of Ball Club Creek.

Whale Lake is a lake in Cook County in what is known as the Arrowhead Region of northern Minnesota. It is within the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness of the Superior National Forest, at the base of Eagle Mountain, Minnesota's highest point. Whale Lake is situated 2½ miles southwest of Ball Club Creek.
