Wayzata is a city in Hennepin County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 4,434 at the 2020 census. A suburb of the Twin Cities, Wayzata is located about 9 miles west of Minneapolis along the northern shore of Lake Minnetonka, the state's ninth-largest lake.
