Halstad is a city in Norman County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 564 at the time of the 2020 census. The city is known for its production of sugar beets, and has a statue of a sugar beet, known as the world's largest sugar beet, to commemorate this status. Halstad is situated 3½ miles east of Herberg Township.
