Kensal is a city in Stutsman County, North Dakota, United States. The population was 146 at the 2020 census. Kensal was founded in 1892. It is the location of, or nearest community to, the Cecil Baker Round Barn, which was built in 1921 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Kensal is situated 2½ miles northeast of Kensal Township.
