Jud is a rural city in LaMoure County, North Dakota, United States. The population was 65 at the 2020 census. Located in Bluebird Township, the town was founded in 1904 as "Fox" and the post office was established as "Gunthorpe." On October 4, 1906, the town and post office were renamed Jud for the county's namesake, Judson LaMoure. Jud is situated 4 miles northeast of Raney Township.
