Opened in 2007, it is the home of the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League, the New York Sirens of the Professional Women's Hockey League, and the men's basketball program of Seton Hall University. Woodland Cemetery is a 36.5-acre nonsectarian burial ground located at 670 South 10th Street in the city of Newark, New Jersey. Established in 1855 and active until the 1980s, the cemetery served the city's German immigrant population and their descendants, and later served a large number of Greek immigrant and African-American graves. Woodland Cemetery is situated 2,600 feet west of Eighteenth Avenue Elementary School.
