Great Notch station was a small New Jersey Transit facility in the Great Notch section of Little Falls, New Jersey. The station was served seven times a day, three inbound morning trains to Hoboken Terminal and four outbound evening trains from Hoboken by the Montclair–Boonton Line from Monday to Friday.

Lambert Castle, originally called Belle Vista, is located within the Garret Mountain Reservation in Paterson, Passaic County, New Jersey. The building was built in 1892 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on June 3, 1976, for its significance in art, architecture, and industry. Lambert Castle is situated 1½ miles northeast of Great Notch Reservoir.

What is now Woodland Park was formed as a borough, under the name West Paterson, by an act of the New Jersey Legislature in 1914, from portions of the township of Little Falls.
