Dark Island, a prominent feature of the Saint Lawrence Seaway, is located in the lower Thousand Islands region, near Chippewa Bay. It is a part of the Town of Hammond, in St. Lawrence County, New York. Dark Island is situated 1½ miles southwest of Elm Tree Island.
Crossover Island Light

Crossover Island Light is a lighthouse on the Saint Lawrence River in New York state near the Canada–United States border. The lighthouse was established in 1848 and the last tower was first lit in 1882. Crossover Island Light is situated 2½ miles north of Elm Tree Island.
