St. Joseph by-the-Sea High School is a co-educational Catholic school in the Huguenot neighborhood of Staten Island, New York, United States. Though technically an independent school with its own board of trustees, it functions for all intents and purposes as a school of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York.

Huguenot is a neighborhood on the South Shore of Staten Island, New York City. Originally named "Bloomingview", it was later named for the Huguenots, led by Daniel Perrin, who settled in the area during the late 17th and early 18th centuries to escape religious persecution.
