Lake Shenorock is a class B lake located in the hamlet of Shenorock in the town of Somers, New York. It was used for fishing and recreational swimming until the Clean Water Act was passed in 1972 and the lake became a source of drinking water, ending swimming in 1977.

The Elephant Hotel is a historic former hotel which today serves as the town hall in Somers, in Westchester County, New York, United States. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on August 7, 1974 as Somers Town House and designated a National Historic Landmark in 2005 as Elephant Hotel. Elephant Hotel is situated 2 miles southeast of Lake Lincolndale.
