Via Port Rotterdam, formerly Rotterdam Square, is a shopping mall located in Rotterdam, New York, United States. When it opened, the mall was originally called Rotterdam Square and owned by Wilmorite Properties until 2005, when Wilmorite was acquired by The Macerich Company, who then took over ownership and management of most of their properties. Via Port Rotterdam is situated 1½ miles northwest of Rotterdam.

Schenectady station is an Amtrak intercity train station in Schenectady, New York. The station, constructed in 2018 is owned by the Capital District Transportation Authority which also owns Albany–Rensselaer station and Saratoga Springs station. Schenectady station is situated 2½ miles northeast of Rotterdam.

It originated in the 1820s with the moving of the commercial and industrial interests east from the original 17th and 18th century settlement, spurred on by the development of the Erie Canal. Downtown Schenectady is situated 2½ miles northeast of Rotterdam.
