Shepard Settlement
Shepard Settlement was a farming hamlet in the northeastern part of the Town of Skaneateles in Onondaga County, New York, United States. Named for the first settlers, this was the second community founded in the Town of Skaneateles, after the Village of Skaneateles at the northern end of Skaneateles Lake.- Type: Hamlet

The Tefft-Steadman House in Marcellus, New York is a Greek Revival-style house that was designed by major architect Minard Lafever. It was built in 1835, apparently faithfully implementing a design from architect Minard Lafever's pattern-book, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007. Tefft-Steadman House is situated 2½ miles east of Shepard Settlement.
