Stratford is a town in Fulton County, New York, United States. The population was 610 at the 2010 census. The town is in the northwestern corner of the county, northeast of the village of Dolgeville. It was named after Stratford, Connecticut. Stratford is situated 3½ miles southeast of Stony Brook.
