Tyrone is a town in Schuyler County, New York, United States. The population was 1,650 at the 2020 census. The town of Tyrone is in the northwest part of the county and is east of Bath.

The town was named after the Revolutionary War general, Anthony Wayne. The Town of Wayne is northeast of Bath. Wayne is situated 4½ miles northwest of Tyrone Union Cemetery.
