Fort Miami was a British fort built in spring 1794 on the Maumee River in what was at the time territory claimed by the United States, and designated by the federal government as the Northwest Territory. Fort Miami is situated 1 mile southeast of Maumee High School.

The Stranahan Theater & Great Hall, commonly known as the Stranahan Theater, is a concert hall located in Toledo, Ohio. The facility was constructed in 1969 and until the mid-1990s was called Masonic Auditorium because attached to the west side of the theater is a structure owned and occupied by several Masonic organizations. Stranahan Theater is situated 1 mile northwest of Maumee High School.
