Covington is a village in Miami County, Ohio, United States. The population was 2,548 at the 2020 census. It is part of the Dayton Metropolitan Statistical Area. The village was incorporated as Covington in 1835 on the site of the 1793 Fort Rowdy. Covington is situated 1½ miles south of Trotters Creek.
