Watchaug Pond

Watchaug Pond is a kettle pond located in southern Rhode Island, in the town of Charlestown. It is surrounded by the John Vincent Gormley 8-mile loop trail which was dedicated by Senator Jack Reed in 1999. Watchaug Pond is situated 2½ miles northwest of Sauks Island.

Wood River Junction is a small village in the town of Richmond, Rhode Island, Washington County, Rhode Island, United States. It is home to the Chariho school district's main campus and is otherwise largely turf farms, which were potato farms before the nuclear accident in 1964. Wood River Junction is situated 5 miles northwest of Sauks Island.
