Mount Ellen

Mount Ellen is a mountain in the Green Mountains in the U.S. state of Vermont. Located at the northern edge of the Green Mountain National Forest in Washington County, the summit of Mount Ellen is in the northwest corner of Warren but the mountain extends into Fayston to the north and Lincoln to the west. Mount Ellen is situated 2 miles southwest of German Flats.

Mad River Glen

Mad River Glen is a ski area in Fayston, Vermont. Located within the Green Mountain range, it sits in the Mad River Valley. Though not considered a large ski area, it has a vertical drop of 2,000 feet, which ranks 14th in New England, and its terrain was ranked by Ski magazine as the most challenging on the east coast of the United States. Mad River Glen is situated 2½ miles northwest of German Flats.
