Alvin is a town in Forest County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 157 at the 2010 census. The town was named after Alvin Spencer, a Baptist minister from Powell County, Kentucky who arrived in the area around 1908. Alvin is situated 3½ miles northeast of Alvin Creek Impoundment.
