Capitol City is an extinct silver mining town located in Hinsdale County, Colorado, United States. Founded as Galena City in 1877, the townsite is located on the Alpine Loop National Scenic Back Country Byway. Capitol City is situated 1½ miles west of Copper Gulch.

Henson's name has historically been spelled several different ways, including Hansen, Hanson, Hensen, and Honsen; the Board on Geographic Names officially supported the current spelling in 1896. Henson is situated 3½ miles east of Copper Gulch.
