Pitkin is a Statutory Town in Gunnison County, Colorado, United States. The population was 72 at the 2020 census. Pitkin was founded in 1879, and is said to be Colorado's first mining camp west of the Continental Divide. Pitkin is situated 4 miles north of Mingo Gulch.
