The Cochiti Dam is an earthen fill dam located on the Rio Grande in Sandoval County, New Mexico, approximately 50 miles north of Albuquerque, New Mexico, in the United States. Cochiti Dam is situated 1½ miles east of Santa Fe River.

Peña Blanca's name is derived from the Spanish term for "white rock". Peña Blanca is situated 2 miles south of Santa Fe River.

Santo Domingo Pueblo, also known as Kewa Pueblo is a federally recognized tribe of Pueblo people in northern New Mexico. A population of 2,456 live in structures some of which date from circa 1700; in Sandoval County described by the U.S. Census Bureau as a census-designated place. Santo Domingo Pueblo is situated 6 miles south of Santa Fe River.
